    Dr. Jae Kyoung Ko received the Ph.D. degree in Department of TextileEngineering from Chonbuk National University, Korea, in 2017. After graduation,she worked as a chief researcher at CJ Cheil-Jedang Product Development Center(CJ) 2000-2012. Since 2012 She worked as a Team manager in Korea Institute ofConvergence Textile, period in 2013~2018. Currently, she is a researchprofessor in the Department of Organic Materials & Fiber Engineering. Hermain a research and development professional with expertise in textileengineering and polymer science. Key contributor to process optimizationthrough data analysis and laboratory methodologies. Especially drug materialsstudy for medical application.


报告大纲:

    A combination of both electrospinng and hydrothermal processes were usedto synthesize the ZnO/CNFs composite as an effective electrode material forsupercapacitors. The morphology of the as-prepared composite clearly showedthat the carbon nanofibers were successfully wrapped with ZnO nano-flakes. Theelectrochemical performance of the as-prepared composite was carried out bycyclic Voltammetry, galvanostatic charge-discharge, and electrochemicalimpedance spectroscopy. The specific capacitance of the ZnO/CNFs compositewashigher (260 F/g) than pristine ZnOnanofibers (118 F/g) at the lower current density 0.25 A/g. As-fabricatedZnO/CNFs composite exhibited good capacity retention (73.3%) after 1000 cycles.The as-fabricated composite has great potential applications in developingenergy storage devices.
